Residents of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, will have the opportunity to express their opinions on PPL Electric's proposed rate increase at a public hearing tonight. The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission is hosting the event at the Manheim Township Public Library, starting at 6 p.m.

If the rate increase is approved, the average residential customer could see their monthly bill rise by approximately $13. This hearing provides a platform for community members to voice their concerns and ask questions about how the proposed changes might impact their utility costs.

The decision on the rate increase will be influenced by the feedback collected during the hearing, as well as further analysis by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in the discussion.
