Wanted Man Caught After Lancaster Search

A wanted individual was apprehended in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, following a manhunt on Wednesday (May 14). The search, which took place near Pitney Road and Princess Anne Drive, involved multiple police vehicles and K-9 units. Officers had advised residents to stay indoors and report any suspicious activity during the operation.

According to the Lancaster City Bureau of Police, the suspect was taken into custody, although no further details about the individual's identity or the reason for the search have been disclosed. Melissa Hernandez, a resident in the area, reported seeing at least 10 police vehicles and officers with guns drawn around 5 p.m. She described witnessing the suspect stop a FedEx truck before police arrived.

The police operation also involved assistance from the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department. Additionally, a car crash occurred at Route 30 and Walnut Street, but it remains unclear if this incident is connected to the manhunt.
