Baby Jesus Stolen from York County Nativity Scene

A baby Jesus statue was stolen from a nativity scene in York County, Pennsylvania, over the weekend. The theft occurred at the Red Lion Borough office, according to a Facebook post by the borough. The post expressed sadness over the incident and urged the thief or thieves to return the statue, highlighting the spirit of love and giving associated with the season.

Last Thursday (December 12), two individuals in black hoodies attempted to steal the statue but were scared off by a passerby. Despite this initial attempt, the statue was successfully taken over the weekend. The borough has asked anyone with information about the theft to contact them at 717-850-0790.

Local police are also involved in the investigation, urging the return of the statue. The community hopes for its return with Christmas just days away.
