Nurse Accused Of Assaulting Nursing Home Patient
(Cumberland County, PA) -- A caretaker is facing charges for allegedly assaulting a patient at a nursing home. Police say 47-year-old Joseph Ikoghode struck a patient multiple times while working as a nurse at the Church of God Home in Carlisle Sunday night. Ikoghode reportedly claimed he was protecting himself, but officers said there were no marks on him. He is being held on ten-thousand-dollars bail.
