Quarter Of Young Americans Do Not Plan To Have Children Over Finances
(Springfield, MA) -- A quarter of younger Americans aren't planning to have children because of their finances. That's according to a new survey from MassMutual. It found that 23-percent of millennials and Gen Zers do not plan to become parents for money-related reasons. CDC data from August shows that births in the U.S. dropped between 2022 and 2023, and dropped by close to 23-percent between 2007 and 2022.
