A one-year-old boy is in critical condition after being attacked by two dogs at a babysitter's home in South Lebanon Township, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning, around 4:30 a.m. The toddler was airlifted to Hershey Medical Center with stable vital signs but remains hospitalized, according to the South Lebanon Township Police Department.
The dogs involved in the attack are not considered a threat to the community. The residence where the attack took place reportedly housed six greater Swiss mountain dogs and one basset hound. The residents had been babysitting the boy for nearly a year, but the dogs had not seen him for a while. The South Lebanon Township Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
