Harrisburg man Convicted for Hiring Gunmen, Drug Trafficking

(Harrisburg, PA) -- A 36-year-old Harrisburg man has been convicted by a jury of trafficking over a ton of marijuana in the city. Federal prosecutors say Christopher Texidor also hired gunmen to protect his illegal activities. The United States Attorney's office says Texidor and his codefendants could have trafficked as much as nine-thousand-pounds of marijuana through the mail from a supplier in California. The illegal activity was conducted through Fastlane Auto Sales on Paxton Street. Five of Texidor's codefendants have pleaded guilty.
