Protester Glues Self To State Capitol Railing
(Harrisburg, PA) -- A man glued himself to a railing at the state Capitol in a protest over five suicide deaths of transgender young people in Lancaster County. James Lantz of Vermont disrupted a Senate session yesterday by yelling at Lancaster County Republican Senator Ryan Aument. Lantz blames Aument for proposing anti-trans and anti-LGBTQ legislation before gluing his hand to a Senate railing. A medical team was called in to unglue Lantz, and he was arrested on charges that include criminal mischief and institutional vandalism.
