Pennsylvania Moving Standardized Tests Online

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania's governor is promising to move all state tests online by 2026. Governor Josh Shapiro last week announced plans to move both the System of School Assessment and the Keystone end-of-course test online. Some schools already take the tests completely online, but there are plenty of districts across the state that still use pencil and paper. The governor says not only will it be simpler, and faster to offer the tests online. He said moving the test online will ease the burden on teachers who are responsible for receiving, prepping, collecting, and re-boxing the tests once they are done.
