Daytime Work Begins Today On Harris Memorial Bridge
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Roadwork is set to begin today on the northbound side of the John Harris Memorial Bridge. The span carries Interstate 83 across the Susquehanna River and connects Dauphin and Cumberland Counties. PennDOT officials say steel repairs to the bridge will block the right lane, with the right exit lane to 2nd Street shut down from 9 am to 3 pm. The project is set to be completed in about three weeks.
