CDC Warns Health Care Workers About Measles
(Atlanta, GA) -- The CDC is warning health care providers across the U.S. to be alert for measles cases. According to the CDC, there have been 23 confirmed cases of measles from December 1st to January 23rd. The federal health agency says there's a "growing global threat" as the uptick in cases in the U.S. reflects a rise in infections globally. In an email, the CDC said health care workers should lookout for patients who have any symptoms and immediately isolate those who are suspected of having the viral respiratory illness.
