Senator John Fetterman says he'll wear a suit if Republicans can avoid a government shutdown. The Pennsylvania Democrat said in a statement if Republicans in the House "stop trying to shut our government down, and fully support Ukraine" then he will "save democracy" by dressing up for the Senate floor next week. Fetterman got extra attention for his basketball shorts and hoodie look after Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer loosened the chamber's dress code that typically required members to wear business attire.
