>Ozone Alert Issued for Thursday for Susquehanna Valley Area
(Harrisburg, PA) -- The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has declared a Code Orange Air Quality Action Day for ozone for Thursday. Officials say hot, high temperatures in the Susquehanna Valley will be in the middle 90s and those will contribute to higher concentrations of ozone during the day. The alert will likely only last a day because thundershowers are expected to begin Thursday night and last into the weekend.
