Wellspan Health Expands in York, Cumberland Counties
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Officials with WellSpan Health say they plan to build three new community hospitals in York and Cumberland counties. A company news release says groundbreaking for the first of the three neighborhood hospitals is tentatively set for the end of 2023 with a potential grand opening a year later. The planned facilities will operate 24/7 with emergency departments and up to 10 inpatient beds. Specific details, such as location and services at the three sites, are still being finalized.
