Gov. Shapiro Stresses Importance Of Free Breakfast For School Children
(Harrisburg, PA) - Governor Shapiro is advocating for free breakfasts for students in schools across the state. He was in Montgomery County last week to highlight his proposal for 38-and-a-half million-dollars in funding for the universal breakfast program. He said feeding children is part of the effort to give every child in Pennsylvania a great opportunity to get the greatest education there is . The final state budget must be adopted by June 30.
