Shank's Extract Expanding In Lancaster County
(East Hempfield, PA) -- A Lancaster County specialty food ingredient company is planning a major expansion of their facility. Shank's Extracts is planning a 30-million-dollar investment in the company's East Hempfield Township headquarters. The expansion is expected to create over 80 jobs while retaining more than 200 other positions in central Pennsylvania. Governor Josh Shapiro says a homegrown company like Shank's Extracts choosing to expand in Pennsylvania sends a clear message that the state is open for business.
