K9 Zoe Dies Within Week after Department Retirement
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Harrisburg police say their former K9 Officer "Zoe" has died. An e-mail sent Saturday says the Dutch Shepherd died Friday morning, just days after she was honored in a retirement ceremony that was brought on by a recent cancer diagnosis. A city spokesman says she took a turn for the worse after a chemo treatment Tuesday - she had just retired Monday.
