(Harrisburg, PA) -- Local conservative talk show host Ken Matthews is trying to syndicate his radio program nationally. Matthews' new show, which will still be aired in Harrisburg, launches Thursday on iHeart Radio's WHP 580. Matthews has signed a deal with syndicated Talk Media Network to host a three-hour daytime slot. It will be offered to stations from coast to coast, competing for the noon-to-3 p.m. slot that once belonged to the late Rush Limbaugh. He had become one of a handful of regular substitute hosts for Limbaugh's live daily show in recent months and believes the syndication deal will help him find a permanent, national audience.
