>>PA Now is Ranked 7th in COVID Cases In U.S. 

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania is now seventh-most among the 50 states in the number of cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began. It follows California, Texas, Florida, New York, Illinois and Georgia. The Keystone State has now accumulated one point six million, 19-thousand total cases since March of 2020. Pennsylvania also has the fourth-most cases over the last week, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, following California, Michigan, and New York.

>>Children's COVID Clinic Set to Start This Week in York City

(York, PA) -- First Family Health in York will be offering a vaccine clinic beginning on Tuesday for children ages five to eleven. The children's shots will be part of the clinic's regular offerings every Tuesday from four to six p.m. They're being offered in conjunction with WellSpan Health and the York City Bureau of Health. Both walk-ins and appointments will be accepted. The clinic is located at 116 South George Street in York.

>>Minersville Man Dies in Lebanon City Shooting

(Lebanon, PA) -- Police in Lebanon City are investigating a shooting that left a Minersville man dead in the early hours of Saturday. It happened near 7th and Willow Streets when two men reportedly stepped outside a business there then started to argue and fight. The suspect left the scene after shooting the 39-year-old victim, who was pronounced dead by the county coroner's office. The victim's name hasn't been released. The suspect is described as a man with dark skin, who's about five feet nine inches tall. 

>>Work Continues on I-83 Bridge Through Tuesday

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Repairs are set to continue this coming week on the east shore ramps at the I-83 South Bridge. Weather permitting, crews plan to set up detours for the ramp from Front Street to northbound I-83, the ramp from Front Street to southbound I-83 and the ramp from southbound I-83 to Second Street. Work will happen overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Tuesday night, November 16th. Only one ramp will be closed at a time. The work being done includes replacing expansion joint seals and concrete repairs.

>>New Mural at Stony Brook Elementary Dedicated to Late Assistant Principal

(York, PA) -- A group of third graders and a local artist have now completed their work on a colorful, meaningful mural at Stony Brook Elementary School. The piece called "Sowing Seeds, Becoming Stars" was dedicated Sunday with Central York High School graduate Brett Greiman explaining it is meant to inspire students by incorporating nature and self-determination. It's dedicated to the memory of the late assistant principal Andrew Thompson. Greiman says parts of the 110-square foot work will have a special meaning to those close to Thompson.

>>Six Area Projects Could Get Worked on in New Federal Infrastructure Bill

(Lancaster, PA) -- Money in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that has been sent to President Joe Biden for signing could help fund already-vetted projects in Lancaster County. One of them involves five-million-dollars' worth of improvements to the Veterans Memorial Bridge. Intersection upgrades in East Lampeter Township and a project at Route 324 and Route 222 could also be included. Also considered, a $3-million bridge replacement over Cocalico Creek in Ephrata Township, a common site for flooding; as well as a three-million-dollar extension of the Enola Low Grade Trail project that would lead to a connection to a Chester County trail and beyond.

>>Ex-Superintendent Of Schuylkill Valley Schools To Take Anger Management Counseling 

(Schuylkill Valley, PA) -- The former Schuylkill Valley School District superintendent who was arrested over the summer for threatening a school board member is scheduled to complete anger management counseling. Michael Mitchell Junior will have a chance to clear the criminal charges from his record by completing the program. Mitchell resigned as superintendent effective June 30. He had been put on paid administrative leave on May 12th.

>>Eastern Lancaster County Schools Super to Run for U.S. House of Representatives

(Lancaster, PA) -- Dr. Bob Hollister, who has led the Eastern Lancaster County School District for 13 years has formally filed as candidate for the 11th District in Pennsylvania for the U.S. House of Representatives. The superintendent filed with the Federal Elections Commission early last week for the seat currently held by U.S. Representative Lloyd Smucker. Hollister was a Republican as recently as 2020 but changed parties this year and will run as a Democrat, according to the FEC filing and voter records. Hollister is set to retire in March of 2022.

>>Lititz Man Charged After Reportedly Pulling Out Relative's Teeth During Fight

(Manheim Township, PA) -- A Lititz man is facing charges after police say he pulled out a relative's two front teeth during a fight. Ryan Lefever reportedly reached into the other man's mouth and pulled out two teeth while the men were fighting last week. The domestic dispute happened at a home on West Oregon Road in Manheim Township. When police arrived, they say they found the man bleeding from his mouth, and he told them his teeth had been pulled out by Lefever. It's not known how the two are related.

>>Woman Charged in Boy's Death Dies After Medical Emergency

(Lock Haven, PA) -- A woman who was being held in Clinton County and was accused of homicide in the death of a nine-year-old boy has died. A news release from the Clinton County D.A. and coroner's office says Jamie Lynn Jackson of Lock Haven was pronounced dead Sunday afternoon. Jackson experienced a medical emergency and was taken to the Lock Haven Hospital. The D.A. says an autopsy will determine how she died. The release also says no one else was involved and there was no foul play indicated. She was accused in November of beating and abusing Anson Stover, then leaving him to die in a bathtub. 

>>Middle-Aged Woman Found Huffing at Public Bus Stop

(Williamsport, PA) -- A Williamsport woman accused of inhaling toxic releasing substances will appear in court later this month after being found at a public bus stop. Donna Sue Hendershot was allegedly drooling and incoherent as Williamsport Police officers attempted to speak with her at the River Valley Transit bus station. Officer Andrew Stevens said Hendershot could be seen actively huffing from a can of duster as the officers went up to her. She was charged with the same misdemeanor in 2011 and again in 2016. 

>>Principal Killed by Car Accident

(Ardmore, PA) -- Students, faculty, and community members are mourning the loss of a beloved Principal in Montgomery County. Lower Merion High School Principal Sean Hughes died over the weekend following a car accident. Mr. Hughes had been an administrator for more than 14-years. All schools in Lower Merion are closed today following his passing.

>>Eagles Run All Over Broncos to Cruise to Win

(Denver, CO) -- The Eagles are returning to Philadelphia fresh off a big win in the mile high city. Philadelphia destroyed the Denver Broncos yesterday by a final score of 30-12. The Eagles dominated the game on the ground with 214-yards rushing while the defense stifled Denver's offense that scored 30 last week. Philly will return to The Linc next Sunday seeking their first home win of the season.
