>>Pennsylvania Appeals Court Upholds Closing Of Restaurant For COVID Violations
(Harrisburg, PA) -- A state appeals court is ruling against a Pittsburgh restaurant that was closed for disobeying the governor's COVID-19 restrictions. Last July, the governor issued a mask mandate for restaurants, and The Crack'd Egg was ordered to close in August after disobeying health orders. The Allegheny County Health Department then learned of the owner's intent to reopen anyways after being ordered to close, and a county court then ordered a preliminary injunction to close it. The Crack'd Egg challenged the preliminary injunction, but the Commonwealth Court ruled against them again saying the judge was justified.
