Pennsylvania State Police To Limit In Person Calls

PSP To Limit In Person Calls

(Harrisburg, PA) -- State police officials say troopers will begin to take statements over the phone whenever positive to limit COVID-19 exposure. State Police Commissioner Colonial Robert Evanchick says the policy shift is in effect for lost and found, identity theft, and other general requests that they can resolve with limited or no-scene response. Colonial Evanchick says troopers will still respond to critical calls and their barracks remain open to the public.
