Conor Lamb is taking on Republican Rick Saccone in the March election to replace former Congressman Tim Murphy. Democrats selected Lamb yesterday for the race for the 18th Congressional District special election. Murphy, a pro-life Republican, stepped down last month after allegations he asked his mistress to have an abortion when he thought she was pregnant. The 18th district covers parts of Greene, Washington, Allegheny and Westmoreland counties.
