PA Turnpike call boxes being pulled out of service

Emergency call boxes along the 550-mile Pennsylvania Turnpike are being removed starting this week.  Officials say the boxes that have lined the turnpike since 1988 have become obsolete due to cell phones.  Drivers are reminded to dial star-11 to report an accident or other emergency on the turnpike system.
