Governor calling for more lead testing

Governor Tom Wolf wants all Pennsylvania children under the age of two to get tested for lead poisoning.  Wolf asked the Department of Health yesterday to work with lawmakers to draft legislation requiring the mandatory testing.  Wolf wants the state to figure out who is at risk and where the highest levels of exposure are.  Dr. Rachel Levine, Acting Secretary of Health and Physician General, says commercial insurance companies are required to offer the test for free under the Affordable Care Act.
