Glen Rock borough council is working on a compromise in connection to a veteran who wants to play Taps over loudspeakers on his property. Neighbors complained about the nightly ritual saying it was intrusive and too loud so council told the man he would no longer be allowed to do it. The ACLU threatened a lawsuit and at a meeting last night, council decided to play the song at Glen Rock Park each evening instead of outside the man's home. Council is expected to vote on the proposal at its next meeting.
