(Washington County, PA) -- A Washington man is facing charges for allegedly trying to strangle a prostitute. Police were called to a home on Locust Avenue Sunday night for a report of a woman screaming. Vincent Davenport partially opened the door for officers, who saw the victim surrounded by broken glass and looking scared. She said Davenport paid her 40 dollars, but was unable to have sex and became enraged. She was not seriously injured but is being charged with prostitution.
