Two ex-Penn State admins get work release

Two former Penn State administrators are allowed to be on work release as they serve sentences for child endangerment. A judge ruled yesterday that former Vice President Gary Schultz and former Athletic Director Tim Curley are both eligible for the work program. The men will report to serve their two-and-three month sentences later this month.  The judge also denied a request by former university President Graham Spanier to have his conviction thrown out.  Spanier is facing two months behind bars.  All three men were sentenced for their handling of abuse complaints about former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky.
