State Police are continuing to hunt for the man suspected of killing his father in his Schuylkill County home before taking his car and credit cards. Thirty-seven-year-old Michael David Marchalk is suspected of beating Gary Marchalk to death in his Pear Street home on Monday. Gary Marchalk was the estranged husband of Schuylkill County Treasurer Linda Marchalk, who wasn't living in the home. The younger Marchalk is charged with criminal homicide, murder of the first degree, murder of the second degree, murder of the third degree, voluntary manslaughter and other offenses.
