PennDOT is issuing new driver's licenses with enhanced security features. The department started a pilot program this week and all driver and photo centers will transition to the new cards by the end of October. They have a larger photo, a 2D barcode, and the keystone outline with "PA" embedded into the card stock. They are also laminated with the state motto. They are not Real ID-compliant though.
