The 18 Penn State students charged in the death of a New Jersey teen at a fraternity party are set for a preliminary hearing today. Nineteen-year-old Timothy Piazza died in February a couple of days after falling down stairs at a Beta Theta Pi pledge party. The defendants are charged with involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, hazing, providing alcohol to minors and tampering with evidence. It took nearly 12 hours before anyone called to get help for Piazza.
