Construction season well underway

decade of road construction is getting underway in central Pennsylvania.  The 217 projects in District Eight come with a 533-million-dollar price tag announced yesterday by Governor Wolf and PennDOT.  The Route 283 project is designed to relieve traffic congestion on a roadway that nearly 60-thousand people travel daily.  Officials say the 283 project will start at the PA Turnpike and run down to the Lancaster County line.  Three bridges will be replaced before PennDOT can tackle the highway next spring.
