A teenager who was injured in a hit-and-run accident in Manchester is now dead. Sixteen-year-old Abigail Osborn passed away yesterday. She was found unconscious along York Haven Road early Sunday. Osborn was a junior at Northeastern High School. David Kent Jr. has allegedly admitted to being the driver of the car that hit Osborn.
Police say that during an interview with Kent, he allegedly admitted to driving in the area where the accident happened and that he believed he had hit a mailbox on the road.
He explained he did not stop and went back home after the accident and covered the car to conceal the damage, according to police.
