PA's PUC settles with Uber

The state Public Utility Commission is settling its legal battle with ride-sharing company, Uber.  The state claimed Uber operated without authority for six months.  A pair of judges recommended a 50-million dollar fine, but the commission asked for eleven million, which Uber appealed. The three-and-a-half-million-dollar settlement was announced yesterday and also includes both sides agreeing that Uber has been operating lawfully since 2014.
