Groups of supporters and opponents of President Trump clashed in Center City this weekend. Initially, an offshoot of the nationally-coordinated Make America Great Again March began demonstrating Saturday afternoon on Independence Mall, but that group was interrupted by an anti-Trump group. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Joseph Sullivan said the pro-Trump group was, at first, delayed from marching because of public safety concerns, while the group claimed the anti-Trump protesters were not acting legally. No arrests were made, but several citations were handed out by police.
