Three people are recovering after chunks of ice flew off of a tractor trailer and smashed the windshield of a car along Interstate 83 in York just before 11 a.m. Thursday morning.
State Police and drivers say incidents like this are far too common after a snow storm.
The driver of a Porsche on I-83 says the vehicle was hit by a piece of ice that came flying off a tractor trailer.
A similar incident occurred on Wednesday on the PA Turnpike in Fannett Township.
PSP officials are reminding trucks and all motorists about their responsibility to clean snow and ice from vehicles.
