Shapiro Eliminates B.A. Degree Requirement for State Jobs

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Governor Josh Shapiro has signed an executive order that eliminates a four-year-degree requirement for state jobs. On Wednesday, he said he signed the order to encourage more people without college degrees to try for jobs within state government. The order also requires state agencies to lead new job postings with qualifications about prior work experiences, rather than their educational background.
