With winter weather......snow and cold now in our area, the area's homeless will again be in need of a warm place to stay and a warm meal to eat. For over 100 years, Bethesda Mission has been provding for the homeless and helping to transform their lives.
We welcome our friend Scott Dunwoody from The Mission to talk about their plans and the needs that exist this winter. We will also get an update on their Community Center expansion which will be such a valuable asset in the Allison Hill community.
Zach Kinard will talk to us about Bethesda's annual food drive which runs through December. Over 20,00 meals will be served this holiday season. They continue to take food and financial donations.
And we will hear from Cody......Bethesda's Chef. Cody came to the Mission seeking help when he was homeless and with the guidance of folks at the Mission and with God's guidance he has transformed his life and now "serves" the homeless. An inspiring story for this Thanksgiving.
