CPRS Physical Therapy along with Penn State Health/Hershey Med hosted the 5th annual Sports Medicine Symposium this past week. Nearly a hundred of local athletic trainers and medical personnel attended to learn about protecting and helping area student athletes.
One of the topics was "sports specialization." Should an athlete participate in many sports or concentrate on one sport? Dr. Ahman Dhawan and Dr. Matthew Silvis join me to discuss.
