Along with providing food and shelter for the area homeless, The Bethesda Mission inspires hope and changes lives. But alot of the men and women cared for at The Mission need healthcare including dental work.
Dr. David Russell, a local dentist from Millersburg, offered his talent and expertise to provide dental care. Thanks to a new state of the art clinic, Dr. Russell and a wonderful team of other volunteers are providing dental care for the guests at Bethesda Mission and for those in the community who don't have dental insurance.
We'll talk with Dr. Russell, and with Scott Dunwoody, Executive Director from the Bethesda Mission. And also learn about their latest fundraising campaign called THE 20-BELOW CHALLENGE with our colleague Tom Russell, Meteorologist at CBS 21 raising much needed money to cover costs to house and feed the homeless at the Mission which has been overfilled for months if not years.
