“Let’s Talk Travel” – National Parks of Western PA & Flight 93 Memorial with Superintendent Steve Clark

The Sat., September 11th show will Honor and Remember the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and feature the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, PA. Steve will tell us how it all began the morning of September 11, 2001 when four commercial airliners are hijacked by al Qaeda terrorists in a planned attack against the United States. United Flight 93, a Boeing 757 is bound for San Francisco from Newark. After 46-minutes of flying, the hijackers attack and just before 10am the plane is seen flying low and erratically over southwestern-Pennsylvania. At 10:03am it crashes, upside-down, at 563-miles per hour into the Somerset County field.
