FDA Issues Safety Advisory Over Oysters

(Tampa, FL) -- The FDA is issuing a safety advisory in six states over a potentially contaminated batch of oysters. They were harvested earlier this month and sold in Florida, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Pennsylvania and Virginia. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency found salmonella and E. coli in the oysters. The company, Future Seafoods, hasn't issued a recall yet but the FDA is urging restaurants to get rid of the oysters.
