Steve Knight CBS 21 Meteorologist Says Weather Whiplash This Week!

TODAY | WEATHER WARN DAY FOR THUNDERSTORMS:

A strong cold front will move through Central PA from west to east this afternoon triggering our latest round of severe thunderstorms. Once again, the biggest threat will be gusty, damaging winds. We expect the strongest storms to move through from 3PM until 9PM. As a result of the enhanced risk for severe weather, today is a CBS 21 WEATHER WARN DAY. Make sure you have a plan to get to a safe place if necessary and be weather ready!

ST PATRICK'S DAY CHILL:

This strong cold front will bring a dramatic drop in temperatures. It will be windy and cold on St Patrick's Day with highs only in the 30's!

REST OF THE WEEK:

Both Wednesday and Thursday will remain below average with a high on Wednesday in the low 40s and in the upper 40s on Thursday. Temperatures do rebound to more seasonable levels for Friday and the weekend with highs in the 50s.
