Meteorologist Steve Knight Says Wintry Mix Of Snow, Sleet To Start The Day

Winter weather advisory until 1 p.m. as wintry mix turns to rain by lunch

TUESDAY MIX/WEATHER WARN DAY:

We start the day with a wintry mix of snow, sleet and even some freezing rain. The precipitation will change to rain by lunchtime, ending the icing threat. Be prepared very slick travel and icy spots for the morning commute, and the National Weather Service has us under a Winter Weather Advisory until 1pm.

MAJOR WARM-UP:

For the second half of the week, temperatures will soar into the 60s but it will also bring several chances for rain. A solid taste of Spring is on the way!

WEEKEND FORECAST:

It will be a mild weekend but fairly cloudy. Some showers are possible Saturday afternoon and evening, but highs each day will be near 70!
