All Eyes on Sunday: The latest from National Weather Service and CBS21

TRACKING WEEKEND SNOW | WEATHER WARN DAY ON SUNDAY:

A Major Winter Storm is heading our way. Clouds will be on the increase on Saturday, and it will be very cold with a high struggling to reach 20 degrees. Snow will move in late Saturday night and pick up in intensity throughout the day on Sunday. This will be a high impact event with snowfall rates of 12"+ possible for much of the region. The snow will wrap up late Sunday night.

BITTER COLD:

The impacts from this storm will linger as more cold air moves in for early next week. Highs on Monday and Tuesday will be in the mid to low 20s and winds gusting to 20 mph. All of next week looks well below average with temperatures below freezing for the entire week.
