Danone U.S. has issued a nationwide recall for its "So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster" frozen dessert pints due to the presence of small stones and hard objects found within the cashew inclusions. The recall affects products with best-by dates before August 8, 2027. According to the FDA, the company is working quickly with retail partners to remove the affected products from store shelves.
The recall is specific to the Salted Caramel Cluster flavor, and no other So Delicious Dairy Free products are impacted. Consumers who have purchased the affected pints are advised not to consume them and to contact the So Delicious Dairy Free Care Line for refund information. USA Today reports that the company has already identified and corrected the issue and plans to reintroduce the product soon.
