The McRib, a beloved McDonald's sandwich, is making a comeback starting Tuesday (October 27). However, it will only be available in select cities, including Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, and Dallas, as reported by USA Today. Fans are encouraged to check the McDonald's app to see if the McRib is available at their local restaurant.

The McRib, which debuted in Kansas City, Kansas, in 1981, features a boneless pork patty shaped like a rack of ribs, topped with barbecue sauce, pickles, and onions. Despite its cult following, the McRib is not a permanent menu item and typically returns during the colder months.

McDonald's Senior Marketing Officer Guillaume Huin announced the return on X, stating, "The McRib is coming back as early as 10/27 in select McDonald's restaurants across the US." The sandwich's return is influenced by consumer demand, and its availability varies by location.

The McRib Locator website has reported sightings of the sandwich in various markets, indicating its early regional comeback. The sandwich's last nationwide release was in 2024, and it returned to some markets in mid-November last year, as noted by 10TV.
