A man named Bobby White is in custody following a standoff with police in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, early Monday morning (September 21). Officers from the Lancaster Bureau of Police arrived at White's home on the 500 block of West Orange Street around 4 a.m. to arrest him for charges related to endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault from a previous incident.
Upon the officers' arrival, White reportedly ran into his home and refused to comply with orders to come outside. After several hours, police obtained a search warrant and successfully took White into custody without incident.
The standoff ended peacefully, and there were no reported injuries. The Lancaster Bureau of Police has not released further details about the charges against White.
