The Harrisburg Senators announced that Sunday's (August 16) home game against the Richmond Flying Squirrels was canceled due to rain and will not be rescheduled. The game was supposed to be the seventh and final matchup of the series at FNB Field. Harrisburg won the last game played on Saturday night with a score of 7-2.
The Richmond Flying Squirrels secured the season series victory over the Senators, winning nine games to eight. Despite the cancellation, fans holding tickets for Sunday's game can exchange them for any remaining home game this season, depending on availability. Exchanges can be made by calling 717.231.4444 or visiting the Senators box office at FNB Field.
The Senators will return to action on Tuesday (August 18) with a six-game series against the Akron RubberDucks, an affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
