A suspect has been arrested following a stabbing incident in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, late Tuesday night (August 11). The Susquehanna Township Police Department responded to reports of a stabbing at North Front Street and Linglestown Road around 10:40 p.m.
The victim, a woman, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated by emergency medical services. According to an affidavit, the incident involved an argument between the victim and the suspect, identified as 30-year-old Brian Williams Jr. The victim stated that Williams, who is homeless, used a machete to slash her hand during the dispute at her encampment. She fled to a nearby convenience store to call 911, while Williams left the scene on foot.
Police later apprehended Williams, who was found with two empty knife sheaths and drug paraphernalia. He faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, possession of an instrument of crime with intent, tampering with evidence, avoiding apprehension, and drug paraphernalia possession. Williams, who has outstanding warrants in Pennsylvania and Alabama, is being held at Dauphin County Prison on $100,000 bail.
