Man On Loose For Fatally Shooting Woman In Manheim

A manhunt is underway in Manheim, Pennsylvania, for Michael Anthony Boccia, who is wanted for the fatal shooting of Keshia M. Gonzalez on Monday (June 1). The Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office reported that the shooting occurred at 7:31 a.m. on North Main Street and was domestic-related.

Boccia, 36, is considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen driving a maroon 2013 Toyota Avalon with tinted windows and Pennsylvania plates MWE1562. Residents are urged not to approach him but to contact the police with any information.

According to WGAL, the tragic incident has left the community in shock. Neighbor Rosemarie Hoffman recounted hearing gunshots and attempting to help Gonzalez, a single mother of two, but it was too late. The shooting marks the first murder in Manheim Borough in decades.

Authorities believe the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute. The Manheim Borough Police Department, assisted by Lancaster County detectives, is actively investigating the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the Manheim Police Department at 717-665-2481 or dial 911 if Boccia is spotted.

This incident is the third homicide in Lancaster County this year, as reported by LancasterOnline. The community remains on edge as the search for Boccia continues.
